Avoiding Negative Tree Situations

Trees uplift the energy of the earth, bringing vitality and life to an area. Trees also provide symbolic and energetic protection against evil energy or bad influence in the neighborhood. Growing in the wrong place, however, trees can have unlimited negative effects.

• Avoid planting a mulberry tree in the front yard. The Chinese believe death can occur in your home. Also, because mulberry leaves are fed to hungry silk worms, your property and career can be chewed up…
• Avoid planting a weeping willow tree in the back yard. This tree symbolizes weeping, parting, slipping away, and energy flowing downward. As a result, occupants of the house may leave, lose money, or worse.
• Avoid planting trees and bushes that contain thorns near a main entrance or on the pathway to your front door. These trees/shrubs include rosebushes and cacti.
• Avoid planting trees directly in front of the front door. A tree in this location blocks the door, which can energetically harm every area of life.
• Tend barren or stripped trees, either healing or removing them. The subconscious influences of these decaying trees on your psyche can result in sickness or general failing health.

Curing dead or dying trees

A dead tree near the front of the house symbolizes death or decay fro the household. Replace the dead tree with a new health tree. If the dead tree is impractical to uproot, wrap a green artificial vine around the tree trunk starting at the ground and circling upwards to at least as high as the tallest member of the household. A good additional step is to plant a healthy new tree or bush nearby.

If a tree is alive but dying, perform this cure to offset the negative energy:

1. Mix a bowl of rice with 99 drops of high-proof liquor and one packet – about ¼ teaspoon of cinnabar powder.
2. As you mix these ingredients together, repeat a prayer or mantra of your choice nine times.
3. Sprinkle this mixture on the ground around the entire tree.
