Sensing the Energy: Good vibes
and Bad
Being able to sense energy, feel
it in your body, and act on these feelings is an essential part of Feng Shui.
Feng shui is the relationship between the energy in your space and the energy
in your body. Everyone can feel these energies after he or she figures out how
to simply pay attention when you can feel what’s going on in your personal
space and correlate what you’re feeling with what’s happening in your life, a
picture begins to develop of what changes your space needs.
Sensing energy is something that
all humans do unconsciously and continuously 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
When you walk into an environment that gives you creeps or makes you feel
peaceful, reflective, or sad, you are definitely sensing the energy of the
space.
The first ways to read energy are
intuitively and physiologically. Everything you encounter registers in your
body as feeling. When you become sensitive to your feelings, you find that
they’re giving you correct readings of the energy in any space you enter. In
short, your body and feelings are incredibly accurate barometers for spatial
energetic realities. And you don’t have to be a special kind of person to read
energy; this ability is common to all humans. All you need is an open mind,
patience, and the willingness to try and practice it.
